Running Suse 10.2 on Dell Inspiron 8200.
Trying to mount Samsung YP-K5 mp3 player.
Unplug and plug in player and
# tail -s 3 -f /var/log/messages

Trouble mounting mp3 player
Hi
Running Suse 10.2 on Dell Inspiron 8200.
Trying to mount Samsung YP-K5 mp3 player.
Unplug and plug in player and
# tail -s 3 -f /var/log/messages

However
# ls /dev/sd*
ls: cannot access /dev/sd*: No such file or directory
The player is obviously being recognised but not assigned to a /dev/sd*
Any ideas about how to proceed? I've already updated the player firmware to 1.06...
