    Cool how to install uncompress utility on SuSe 10

    Hi,
    I am installing an application on SuSe 10 client and it's failing with this message:

    "This is probably due to the uncompress utility being unavailable.
    Make sure uncompress is available and then re-run setup."

    How can I get by this issue?

    uncompress

    Have a look at this previous thread.

    I think the uncompress package is missing.

    Try installing yum on the SuSE client to see if it solves your issues.
