Changing for Gnome to KDE and disk space problem
I just installed SUSE Linux 10.1 in a brand new computer with Windows XP preinstalled. When promp to choose the desktop interface, I have choosen Gnome but I wish to change it to KDE, which is the interface I'm more familiar with. I tried changing session but there is no KDE option. Please help.
Another problem is the partition for Suse was done automatically when I install the program. It keep prompting me that the disk space is not enough whenever I log on. Is this normal?

To install KDE go to Yast-Software- Software Management
Then select Filter Selections
Then Check KDE and Accept
But if you don't have the diskspace you might have a problem.
How much space did you have to install Linux???
A real quick and simple way to see what you have is to click My COmputer and look at the drive info.
For more detail from a console type
su
then the root password (note the letters will not echo)
fdisk -l

pos the output of 'df -h' command too.
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
