    Issues setting location to Australia

    Hi guys,

during the installation, I set my language settings to English(UK) rather than US because here in Australia we use the GB dictionary.

I have found that even though I have set my timezone to Brisbane, Australia, everything seems to read my location as GB.

This was only brought to my attention after I installed Warcraft 3: TFT and when I enter the Battlenet chatroom it defaults to Frozen Throne - GB1 rather than AUS1.

I went into yast and changed my advanced language settings to en_AU which then seems to recognise that I am in Australia, but after I exit the config menu, the system defaults the settings that I just changed back to en_GB.

Anyone else had this problem or know how to fix it?? maybe I'm changing the wrong settings.

    Cheers.

Hi, I recall I set my town when I installed - but if you go to KDE menu -> personal settings -> country region & language. You can change to Australia and add and delete languages.

Also these settings are available via the clock configuration (the clock in the bottom-right of the panel). If you muck about enough there you can get at the timezone, Oceania, Australia and Brisbane.
