Dependency Resolution Failed upon trying to install programs on GNOME 10.2

Hey, I have downloaded several rpm's and have had trouble installing them:

    http://sourceforge.net/project/showf...ease_id=462701
    http://sourceforge.net/project/showf...ease_id=462703

when I try and install them I get the software installer dialog and select install and after a few seconds I get a message saying "Dependency Resolution Failed" as the header, the body of the message dialog says, "Unsolved Dependencies: installing pychm.........
There are no installable providers of python........"
Replace the ".........." with the package version.

I download the rpm, and then I open the rpm with the zen installer, and then the software installer box comes up. There is one box checked, and I click install, and then I get the dialog box I talked about in my first post.

I would go over this, it'll help you get crucial software.

update update update. Add this thing called packman to your installation sources too. It'll say how do do it, but i think the one it gives you doesn't work. After i used after my installation, it worked fine, plus packman may also have a prob similiar to the one you are trying to dowload and the depandancies that you need also.

Depandancies are a pain in the ASS..royally. Sometimes you have to go back and back into older prog..I've went back 10 rpms before giving up and posting.
