Depending on your version of Suse distro you will probably need to configure your wireless card. You should be able to configure it in YaST under Hardware.

I do not know if this will help you or not. I have Suse 10 and i had to go to a website of theirs to get a list of compatble modems.

    http://cdb.novell.com

where I did an express search for modems.

    Muhammed,

Go to YaST -> Network Devices

You should see a list of network cards. Select the wireless card. You should be able to configure it there.

You must first install the drivers for the wireless card. The right way is to first obtain the manufacturer name and model of your wireless card. If you don't already know those then you can look it up in the Windows hardware manager. Then look for the card on openSUSE Hardware Compatibility List. You should be able to get comment on which of the two most common ways to install the drivers has worked for other owners. There could be comment on ndiswrapper for windows drivers and/or there could be comment on the Atheros madwifi drivers. Here are a few other areas of inquiry:

The three posts marked read first in this wireless forum.
The first three posts in this wireless forum

That should get you off to a good start.
