Can't download certain files with YaST

I was trying to install Ktorrent using YaST. It appeared in the list of available packages when I searched for it, but when it came to downloading I got the message:

    Code:
Cannot access installation media guru (SUSE LINUX 10.1) CD 1.
Check that the server is accessible

    URL: ftp://ftp.gwdg.de/pub/linux/misc/suser-guru/rpm/10.1

Media source ftp://ftp.gwdg.de/pub/linux/misc/suser-guru/rpm/10.1 does not contain the desired media
But yet when I copy that very URL into Firefox I can download the rpm by hand.

Does anyone know what's going on please? I have trouble installing downloaded RPMs using any of the managers because it never seems to work.

Well I installed smart package manager and now have no problems at all. It must be something to do with YaST.

    install with yast

It is likely just a problem with the server connection. I'm not a network tech. but my yast does that sometimes. If you can download it to the desktop just right click, select "actions", then "install with yast". it will install the rpm and use yast for dependancies. works everytime for me. Hope this helps.

Strangely this has never worked for me. If I try it YaST just opens the "software management" window and doesn't even seem to have added the RPM as a source. Now that I've installed Smart I can do the same thing though, and it works so I'm happy. Thanks for the help anyway though

If anyone is particulary interested to know why YaST isn't working, please post the CLI command that I can use to replace the right click > install with YaST, and I'll do it and post the output.
