VMWare 1 Static IP Address, 1 Register Domain, 2 DHCP Addresses
I have a Dell computer that is not compatible with Suse 9 only with Suse 10. However, I have a program that only works with Suse 9. Installed Suse 10 on the Dell and also VMWare. I created a virtual machine and installed Suse 9. Both Suse 10 and Suse 9 have apache installed. With the VMWare virtual machine I have it setup as a bridged network adapter so it is assigned an IP address from the DHCP server.
My setup is this:
Dell Computer w/Suse 10 hosting VMWare - 192.168.168.100
Virtual Machine on the Dell Suse 9 Bridged Ethernet adapter 192.168.168.101
1 Registerd domain example.com
1 Static IP Address pointed to the firewall which is our DHCP server as well. Port 80 open to 192.168.168.100
My problem is that I am not sure how to direct
example.com to 192.168.168.100
and office.example.com to 192.168.168.101
and the mx record for example.com to 192.168.168.101
Any help you be greately appreciated!
David
