    Dual display cards: Dual headache

    Hi all

I am wrestling with Suse 10.1 (and X.org) to install a second display. Now x does not crash (like it usually does when I thouch xorg.conf), but it does not enable the dual desktops. The second monitor stays in powersave mode.

It complains about quite a bit pertaining to display related stuff in the log (but I'm afraid most... all of it's greek to me) This does, however, look like the crux:
    Code:
    (II) Loading sub module "int10"
    (II) LoadModule: "int10"
    (II) Loading /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/linux/libint10.so
    (II) Module int10: vendor="X.Org Foundation"
            compiled for 6.9.0, module version = 1.0.0
ABI class: X.Org Video Driver, version 0.8
Requesting insufficient memory window!: start: 0xfe500000 end: 0xfe6fffff size 0x1000000
(EE) Cannot find empty range to map base to
    (EE) ATI(0): Cannot read V_BIOS
(WW) ATI(0): Unable to initialise int10 interface.
(EE) ATI(0): Adapter has not been initialised.
    I've attached the following:
    output of scanpci; xorg.conf; xorg.0.log

    Please help! Noob in distress!
