Hi there,
I'm trying to run rsnapshot to backup the all system to removable device.
The first backup was succesfully created, but at the second I started to get an error
[22/Mar/2007:20:10:21] /usr/bin/rsnapshot daily: started
[22/Mar/2007:20:10:21] echo 5217 > /var/run/rsnapshot.pid
[22/Mar/2007:20:10:21] mv /media/My_Book/backup/Suse/daily.2/ /media/My_Book/backup/Suse/daily.3/
[22/Mar/2007:20:10:21] mv /media/My_Book/backup/Suse/daily.1/ /media/My_Book/backup/Suse/daily.2/
[22/Mar/2007:20:10:21] /bin/cp -al /media/My_Book/backup/Suse/daily.0 /media/My_Book/backup/Suse/daily.1
[22/Mar/2007:20:11:01] /usr/bin/rsnapshot daily: ERROR: /bin/cp failed. Perhaps this is not GNU cp?
[22/Mar/2007:20:11:01] /usr/bin/rsnapshot daily: ERROR: Error! cp_al("/media/My_Book/backup/Suse/daily.0/", "/media/My_Book/backup/Suse/daily.1/")
[22/Mar/2007:20:11:01] rm -f /var/run/rsnapshot.pid
The system is a Suse 10.1 and aparently the GNU cp is already installed under this directory
cmd_cp /bin/cp
Anyone had the same problem?
Thanks in advance.
