What is the exact error you are getting?
Did you have to pay for Nero Linux? It is in my opinion not even on par with free burners like K3b.

Thanks for the reply. I'm using the Demo. Nero opens in my user dir and a list of folders is available, but when I try to open one to access a file nothing happens. I went to the Nero site and they say I have to allow permission. They suggested: chmod a+rw /dev/hdx (where x is a number I do not know) and,
chmod a+rw /dev/sgx ( where x is a number I also do not know. Any help is much appreciated.

FYI- the x in tha above is most likly zero unless you have multiple devices of that type intalled. In tha case of hd thats the partition and for sg thats your cd/dvd.
Also I doubt if the ownership is wrong unless you have done something really wrong.

Just thinking about it - now that most distros use udev the permissions trick can be difficult as udev does all the management of automounting. Permissions can reset themselves during boot time.

Thank you both! And Casper, I'm using the Demo.
