    K3b does't work

Help! Installed K3b; the symbol appears in Gnome, but when I click it nothing happens. I went to YaST and searching, appears as installed with a lock. I tried a reinstalled, but didn't allow me. What do I do? I don't know how to uninstall it so I can reinstall it. Any help much appreciated.

How did you install it? from Yast? from an RPM or did you compile from source?

First try going to Yast-Software - Software managment

search for kb3 if found you can unistall from there. I highly recommend you use Yast or Smart to manage installs. It is possible to trash your system if you do not understand how to install manually.

Thanks a lot for the reply. A guy from another forum also helped me and his answer was to install "dbus-1-qt3", which I did with YaST from the original DVD. And it worked! It's working fine now. Thanks a lot anyway.
