    hello

    i installed suse 10.2. i bought a new graphics card cause i wanted to check ou the 3d desktop. the only problem is that suse dosent recognize my card. gecube ati radeon 9250. its 128 mb. not only that, but now in windows when i open a web browser, the screen shakes up and down. its driving me nuts. i cant figure it out.

    please help. the screen is shaking even as im typing right now!!!!!!

    I don't think intalling Linux has anything to do with your video problems. Sounds to me like a video card or monitor issue. (Yes, right out of the box they can go bad...) I had the same thing happen to me once when the fan went bad on an Nvidia card. If it IS your video card physically going bad (or the fan isn't cooling properly), and you need to replace it, get an Nvidia. ATI makes good cards, but Nvidia (in my experience) is far more user friendly toward the Linux community, and their 3d graphics drivers are easy to install and update.
