    TV output on laptop

I am running opensuse 10.2 on a Dell 710m - I have an intel 855 GM gfx chip. Suse installed the i810 driver for it. How do I get the svideo output working? The intel website points me to http://www.intellinuxgraphics.org/ for linux drivers - I was reading the site over and it appears that I am already running the i810 driver from that website.

You need to make some changes in your /etc/xorg.conf file to activate the SVideo output. You can check out this site that talks about it. It is really for mythTV but it should work for your needs as well:
