    hi.

im a noob still when it comes to linux, but ive bin using suse 10.2 for 2 months now. still a couple of problems, since changing from xp, but no 1 seems to no how to fix them.

im using compiz for my 3d desktop, and it works well! but i have just found out about beryl, and was wondering what advantages there r between them??

as usual, any comments welcome! thanks

beryl has more effects but is also considered less stable. Fire-tranparent cube-rain etc.

For me, the big draw to Beryl is that it has better integration with KDE than Compiz has. But I expect that'll change soon, considering Beryl is finally being folded back into Compiz. So eventually everyone will just use Compiz, which will have more bells and whistles than it does now.
