    Cannot connect with WEP enabled

    Hi,

    Can anyone help with this?

I have just install SUSE 10.2 dual booting with XP, I am using an Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG card. I can detect my wireless network with WEP enabled but cannot connect with my key; it just hangs at 28% when connecting. If I disable WEP I can then connect.

I am configuring my card with Yast in Network devices and using 128 bit encryption with shared key.

    Thanks

Make sure you tick the correct key input type.

    For the passphrase.
You need to do it in hex if you are using WEP.

All setting look correct, after looking around a bit on the net looks like a few people have had this problem.

Thought i solved it with this post

But still cannot connect. I must be missing something. My router is about five years old, so i might just get a new one and see if that helps????
