xp/Suse10.1 Dual boot Problem
Hi All,
I had installed Suse 10.1 with GRUB loader on my system with windows xp.
But when I installed windows xp again, I was unable to access
GRUB/Suse 10.1.
Kindly let me know how to activate the GRUB loader again or whether I have to reinstall linux.
Also let me know about a boot loader configuration for SUSE so that if I have to install xp again, SUSE loader remains intact.
Thanks and Regards

You should be able to engage it once again by doing an "update." You throw in the first Suse CD or DVD (Whichever you used), and update the OS. Don't do anything major, it'll reinstall GRUB. I *think* that takes care of the issue. Anyone else have a different method?
I praise Webmin and PuTTy!

harner has posted easiest method to re-intsall GRUB. boot up from Installation CD/DVD, select Installation. select 'update' in next screen and click next. next....
its not possible. windows re-install will remove GRUB. you can re-install GRUB easily through above method.

It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
