    Unhappy Booting trouble...

I have two partitions... one of 100GB with Vista installed and the other one of 10GB in which Suse 10.2 is installed. the problem is that while installing, the MBR got overwritten, and now (though in startup it does show the option to boot either suse or vista) when i try to start vista, the system reboots. i tried editing the menu.lst file, but evn that was of no use. now i am not able to boot up vista... i have to work only on suse. can anyone please guide me how to boot vista???

    hi genius,

    Welcome to the LinuxForums.

post the contents of menu.lst file and output of 'fdisk -l' command here.
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
