Hello,

After finally having managed to get my wireless network card to work in Suse Linux 10, I noticed that configuring wireless access points with Yast seems to do absolutely nothing. When I go to "Yast" -> "Internet & Network" -> "Wireless Network", and enter my root password, I can specify access points, but I'm still unable to connect to my wireless network after that.

When I use Kinternet to scan for wireless networks, I can see two hidden wireless networks (the access points are hidden.), but can't connect because the computer is "not associated" with the access point. What I configure with Yast, seems to have no influence on Kinternet.

However, when I go to the command line (Bash), then use "sux" to log in as root, and give the command "iwconfig eth1 essid " my access point", and then use Kinternet to connect to the wireless network (which Kinternet now displays with the name of the access point), I can connect to the wireless network.

How do I make it so, that Linux automatically attempts to connect to my wireless network at startup? It would save me the trouble of using the command line each time I need to use the wireless network.
