    install on second partition

    Iv been lookin for a guide to install this on a second partition and i can tfind one im a newbie to linux so please help me out. if someone could link me to one or tell me how this works it would be greatly appreciated.im using windows right now and iv partitioned some space for this but i want to make sure iv done everything correctly before i try this.

    Hi Crispies,

    Welcome to the LinuxForums.

    You dont have to do anything special for Dual Boot setup. Dont create new partition for Linux. Leave Unpartitioned/Free space and select that "free space" during installation. Installer will create and format partitions, and setup dual boot for you.
