I am currently configuring a Suse box for the first time. and am having trouble with getting the automounter to mout across the network. I am used to amd as I have used this in UBUNTU and FEDORA CORE. I heard that autofs is the newer version of this but it seems completely different in the way that it is set up.

I have placed the names of all the hosts in my network into the hosts file, and also uncommented the net option in the auto.master in the /etc/ directory.

The auto.net file has not een changed as I have no experience with shell script so all i can do is past it in for you guys if you need it to help me diagnose what the problem is.
