Problems after changing secondary drive format
hi all-
new to linux and even newer to the forum. recently i've been running sled 10 with a secondary hard drive formatted as ext3 for storing video files. I'm dual booting windows xp pro and linux. it became necessary to change the secondary hard drive to ntfs format so windows and linux could both read the video files. now when i go back to boot linux it takes me to the bash prompt and tells me:
fsck failed for at least one filesystem (not /)
Please repair manually and reboot.
The root filesystem is already mounted read-write
i'm not sure what to do. i know linux is smarter than me and i don't want to mess it all up. how do i get past this? let me know if i haven't given enough information.
thanks.

boot up in 'rescue' mode and remove second disk's mount lines from /etc/fstab file.
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
