It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

I already have a googlemail account my problem exists in that I do a lot of work for NCR. And they will not e-mail google mail for some unknown reason and insist on a hotmail account.
- 04-22-2007 #13I have no troubles setting up my free hotmail account on Ubuntu, when I am home in about 4 hours; I will see if I can find the mail server settings.

Just like yahoo, to get pop access you have to pay. What programs like freepops do is translate pop requests into http requests. It looks like this is working for hotmail any longer (per devils_casper). You can still access via webmail of course.

i am using gotmail now. its working with hotmail.

Current hotmail server URL.
http://services.msn.com/svcs/hotmail/httpmail.asp
Account type should be set to HTTP.
