"DCOPserver" not running"
I found this morning, the following messages:
"There was an error setting up inter-process communication for KDE. The message returned by the system was: [Couldn't open network socket. Please check that dcopserver program is running.]". I did some checking in the forum. Lots of similar problems, but no real solutions. This is the output of "top":

I took a look at my "defaults.list and it looked ok. I think the key to this problem is to edit the file .ICEauthority
If someone can detect something I can correct, please tell me. Thanks a lot. I couldn't find .ICEauthority in /home/macho. Can someone help me with that?. I think the key is to grant permission to the file .ICEauthority and to edit DefaultsPlugins; where it says Type=Link, to change it to Type="Application" or "Service". The problem is that I cannot find the file. I checked defaults.list, but didn't have "Type, etc", so I think I'm looking at the wrong file. Can someone help with this?. Thanks.
linux-wwtz:~ # chmod 777 /.ICEauthority

The solution to this problem is the following: ( thanks to a guy in another forum); find the file /root/.DCOPserver_linux-wwtz_0, erase it and reboot. Problem solved!

DCOPServer
Go to /home/username>Show Hidden Files>Delete .ICEauthority and reboot
