The GNOME 2.16 is excellent.. but i'm unable to play vcds on this computer. I see that totem is default program to handle vcds. I installed all the gstreamer plugins (good,bad,ugly,extra) but in vain.
I even installed vlc player.. but surprisingly it cannot open '.dat' files found on vcd.

please help me out.. XINE reads it has some patent problems so cannot play'em all!
