I have a Gateway MX(something) Laptop and on windows i CAN adjust the brightness of the screen, I cannot do that in Linux. I have installed the latest ATI drivers, I also use Beryl without any problems at all.

When I have the laptop on AC the brightness is a little bit low, when i unplug it, it changes to brighter. But I see at the console of KPowerSave that the it is not supported the "Set Brightness Feature".

I hope there is sth here to solve that issue, I use Suse 10.2. Oh! I am a newbie too!!
