    Smile Traditional Multihead - blank

    hi,

i have been trying to get SUSE10.2 with nvidia drivers installed to use multihead.

i am fine with Clone,Xinerama, Twinview, as these are fairly simple to configure.

the problem arrises as i need 2 different resolutions. so traditional is for me!

i have read loads on the subject, and i think i have it setup correctly, but the second dispkay is blank!!

the 2nd is there, as i can drag my mouse pointer on to it, but it changes to a cross!!

does anyone out there know anything about traditional multihead??

if so how would i get SUSE to run a 2nd desktop.

i understand i cant drag and drop between the desktops!

just how do i get the 2nd desktop to start up??

mainly, i think i just need to start the 2nd window manager! but how?

just some ideas please, cos im stuck! i dont mind people giving me ideas that dont work, just anything will do!!!!!

    thanks

anyone who has set up multiseat arrangements, your advise would be much appreciated! thanks

also, the sax2 you get when i installed SUSE was more complete, with a section devoted to multi head! how would i get to that sax2? instead i can only get YaST's version, which is the cut down version!

    thanks again
