    xmms problem

    hi, after i install xmms, it runs quite well. but after i wanna queue an mp3 to the list, it wont appear. even i cant play any mp3. but mp3 can be played with other player. any solution?

    Use the Packman packaged xmms version - NOT the Novell/SuSE packaged version

    Try installing packman's packaged xmms and xmms-lib. The Novell/SuSE version is typically crippled for mp3.

    Actually what i have done is to install the W32 Codecs from Yast. Then everything was smooth. Just pointing out.
    Ubuntu 8.04 [32bit] @ Gateway MX6453 Notebook
