I installed OpenSuse . The installation went fine. After I logged in I could get the terminal but the start menu button will not work at all. Seems like just the start menu button. You can launch apps from the terminal.
Ideas?

It is the newest verion of OpenSuse running on AMD 64 Dual Core workstation from Sun.

I have installed Linux many times and never had this issue not really sure how to ask the right question here.......
