Hi guys. I managed to make make NX server work on my suse 10.2, but results are not as good as I expected. I installed NX client for windows on antoher pc and tried to connect to my suse 10.2 box. If I connected through my local network it seems to work ok, but if I connect from outside my local network it works so slow, that you just can't normaly work. I tried to reduce resolution and bitmap colors on my NX client connection, but it does not help. What could be the problem. I have ADSL line with 1MB download/256kB upload connection, which should be more then enough for this nx connection. Is mybe encryption that makes it work so slow? Should I allow some services in Suse firewall? Please give me some advice.
