    hda / usb file path location?

    Can anyone tell me the filepath to get to hda1 or a usb device. i cant access the gui (Long Story) so have to use command line. trying to copy my windows files to usb only dont know what the file path is to it.

    check /media or /mnt folders.
    It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

    had already checked mnt where i presumed it would be but it wasnt ARGHHH. any was in /media thanks. thought i'd never found it

    you can check all mounted partitions and mount points (path) with 'df -h' command.
    It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
