    Hello amyno,

    Frankly speaking I do not see any serious problems in your /var/log/messages.
    Although there are lines which are a bit confusing:

    Code:
    May 18 01:08:01 acid kernel: hdc: cdrom_decode_status: status=0x51 { DriveReady SeekComplete Error }
    May 18 01:08:01 acid kernel: hdc: cdrom_decode_status: error=0x40 { LastFailedSense=0x04 }
    May 18 01:08:01 acid kernel: ide: failed opcode was: unknown
    This might indicate that either you tried to open defect CD/DVD disk or your CD/DVD drive is broken.

    If You can reproduce the crash, do it and check the end of "dmesg" (with dmesg|tail)

    Im not sure what caused that error. Only reason I cant burn cd/dvd is because it runs out of memory. I guess I'll upgrade it to 2 GB and then see what happens. If the crashing persists, then I'm going to have to check my hardware thoroughly.

    SOrry

    Sorry, it's been a while for me to reply. Got real busy with life, work, and school. Anyways, I've figured out the source of my problem. It was the ram!!! for some strange reason, memtest passed it, after more than 10 hours of testing. I had upgraded my friend's computer, and used his ram to put into mine to check, and it worked fine. Got my ram RMAed and it should be arriving in the next week. Thanks for the help and suggestions.
