Suse + Solaris
I have Windows XP and Suse 10.2 which I boot through GRUB. I also have Solaris on a separate hard disk. In order to boot Solaris I have to change the boot order to the appropriate hard disk. How do I alter GRUB so that I also get the option to boot Solarise from the SUSE Menu.
Thanks
Brian

Ok.
First, open /boot/grub/menu.lst in a txt editor as root. As you're going to be editing this file it's worth making a copy in case it all goes tits up (or you could even copy your bootloader to a floppy and boot from that ).
/boot/grub/menu.lst is the config file for GRUB
Basically what you have too do is make another entry for your solaris system, which will include the partition you want to boot on the hard drive you want to use and the kernel you're using. Be careful because GRUB doesn't use the same identifying convention as Linux. eg Linux hda1= GRUB (hd0, 0)." I didn't know it was a picture of his wife! I thought it was a publicity shot form Planet Of the Apes."
