hallo, i have installed suse 10.2 on my IBM thinkpad 600. works fine but, wenn i'm going to turn off my laptop i goes trou the shutdown process, sending kill signal to all processec, seting hardware clock..., and then comes a message (system will be holdet imidiatly" and... this is it, the system wont power off!!!????????????????

when i press the power buton the system powers of but with a short beep signal and when i power up the laptop again i hawe to set up the time and date in bios ewery time i power it up.

i chack the cmos battery but it was ok (3.2V)

this happens only after i turn on my laptop, when i restart the laptop it restarts with no problems.

please helpa a linux beginner
