    Get DSL TO Work

    I need help getting Qwest DSL to work in Suse Linux. It is version 9.1 I tried Yast and it didn't detect the DSL. Does anyone know of how to fix this?

    Get a router assigning IP via DHCP. Suse 10.2 detects it automatically. I use a D-Lynk. Most DSL companies do not suppot Linux.

    So I need to upgrade my Suse Distro then. Well what about OpenSuse, does that distro detect DSL

    It was a ***** trying to connect Suse 10.2 to the Winmodem of the DSL. A call to them for help, returned as 'We don't support Linux; it's in the contract'. Fortunately I had a D-Lynk which I connected to the Winmodem and from there to the computer. No problem; rebooted and Suse was connected.
