    can't create new folder in /usr/

    i've been trying to install Java onto SuSE 10.2, and I want to create a folder /usr/java/ in which to install it, but when i try to create a new folder i get the message:

    "Access denied to /usr/java."

    What's up here?

    User is a root owned diredtory only root can create a anything there. Though everyone hase execution rights
