How can one fully upgrade from Suse 10.2 to 10.3? (kernel etc..) Lets ASSUME that a stable 10.3 version of Suse is available....

    Smile Upgrade from Suse 10.2 to 10.3

    How can one fully upgrade from Suse 10.2 to 10.3? (kernel etc..) Lets ASSUME that a stable 10.3 version of Suse is available.

    You can use the 10.3 cd or dvd set. If you are good at troubleshooting and fixing problems, you can change your software sources from 10.2 to 10.3 and upgrade using YAST or SMART.

    I don't suggest to upgrade if you're not a Linux guru. Upgrades can't be tested thoroughly in contrast to new installations so you definitely will get problems when you upgrade!
