    scanner-can't configure!!

    10.1 + Canoscan N640P ex. scanner installed via YaST & SANE installed, can't configure in Open Office. Select data Source-no scanner name or data, no options, no advanced options. scanner may not work??? How do I tell?? Have OEM CD V 1.01 and win 98se, will try to get it running there. TKS

    scanner works in win98se. kooka selected-no menu for settings of scanner. tried 75dpi as indicatd by win, -no scanning in linux. Lost, pls help. .
