    mplayer and xgl

    Hello GUYS!!!
    I want to know whether there are any compatibility issues with mplayer and xgl?
    if xgl is enabled and I want to play a movie then mplayer exits abruptly..disabling xgl makes it work fine..what may be the possible causes of this problem?
    I am using opensuse 10.2 32 bit edition

    I had rendering problems with XGL on some apps when I tried it in 10.1-KDE, so I'm not surprised. To be honest there is a certain coolness factor in a cube desktop but I find the the normal KDE multiple desktop actually more useful. You also must remember that all these 3D desktops are still experimental.
