backup opensuse 10.2
i have been using opensuse for nearly a year now first 10.1 then 10.2 sometimes due to some mistake i make or some system failure i have to reinstall and go through the painful process of updating downloading new updates tweaking system etc so i was wondering is there anyway i can backup my current setup so if ever i need to reinstall i can just restore to my old setup

There are at least two recent threads running regarding this issue. I would suggest backing up your root partition using something like clonezilla or ghost for linux

I ended up using "mondo" for a lot of reasons but mostly because it will backup to ISO images that can be burned to CDs or DVDs - which are then bootable.
