    Angry How can I set up e-mail

    When they switch to @embarqmail.com. Eliminated the authorization block in send tab setup. how do I get around this? in windows it, has authorization using the pop server address for smtp outgoing mail. on the incoming mail setup went fine but, get any e-mails either.

    Check the security of the outgoing mails and the incoming mails, if it's SSL or TLS,you get get them from your mail.

    it is the same with kmail as outlook express - just look for the option for outgoing mail to use the same authorisation as for receiving mail.

    it does not have this option all, it has is login and password

    start kmail / settings / configure kmail / accounts / sending

    click on the account - half way down put a tick in the 'server requires authentication' box and add your user name and password
