Hi all

i need to add dns entries in windows active directory using a shell script. Will pick the host name and ip address from UI and fire a script from background that will make that entry in active directory.

The requirement is i need to add machines to the network and through a wizard, users are going to assign that mahine an ip address and a hostname.

DHCP will not be used but things will work on static ip
how about going for it...

can somebody please help
