    Wine Help

    Ok, I downloaded and installed wine-0.9.38-12.1.i586.rpm From Index of /download/Emulators:/Wine/openSUSE_10.2/i586 i installed it and thats it, now im trying to install a windows program and i dont know what to open it with, if i'm supposed to open it with wine, i cant find it!!!! what do i do?

    ok ok that was the wrong thing, now i've got the right one (i think) and its a .repo file, how do i install that?

    You need to run winecfg to set things up for a fake windows files system etc,

    BTW Wine is installed by default in Suse.

    You need to unisntall the older version before installing the newer

    ok if its installed already in SUSE, is it on the addon cd ( i hadda use CD's not DVD's) so... how do i run my program installations (.exe files)?????

    to check if its installed go to command prompt type winecfg for install windows programs visit winehq
