    tips internet sharing

    hi,

    am setting up a internet sharing.and i have all ready internet in may machine using suse 10.2

    heres the output of may adapter!!!

    1. May question is, why i have no address in eth1...how do i get the address in eth1
    actually i try to put static ip 192.168.0.1 in eth1.but when i use this command to restart the network connection......./etc/init.d/network restart

    2. last week i try to configure this, i did first configure the two Adapter set as DHCP client, setup DNS and hostname, setup Routing.

    i did this by following the Cool Solutions: HOW-TO: Set Up a SUSE 10 Machine As a Router


    3. may problem is the "eth1" address..

    Any one can guide me in may PROBLEM in internet sharing? Im just a beginner in linux

    That is the external adapter i use to connect to internet eth0 (3com adapter PCI) actually i have no router...im using a wifi internet wireless the gaget i use is canopy 7.5 produce by the smartbro ISP provider...as you can see
    may eth0 have a IP. inet addr:192.168.252.235 etc. after i have login to the fortal of smartbro ISP. i have may internet!...

    my plan is im making a router machine to share may internet to may other machine....and i have allready configure the DHCP,DNS and Hostname,routing
    i allready asign STATIC IP to eth1 which is buildin Adapter...the IP i use to eth1 is 192.168.0.1 and range ip i asign to the DHCP is 192.168.0.11 - 192.168.0.44
