Configure GTalk account in Pidgin 2.0.2

I have a problem in configuring my GTalk account in latest version of Pidgin. It worked ok in 1.5 version (in an AMD64 system). Now, in the latest version (version 2.0.2) I can't set up my GTalk account anymore: it keeps throwing the following error "Server requires TLS/SSL for login. No TLS/SSL support found."

    Any ideas?

    Ok, problem solved!

I installed all the SSL libraries I could found. None of them worked. After running the ./config it was still saying there is no SSL lib available. This happened until I downloaded the Mozilla nss libraries (Mozilla's libs that provides support for SSL, TSL). After that I reinstalled Pidgin (again) and I could use my GTalk account succesfully.
