    Thankyou for your answer
    i've done this as root but nothing....
    I have installed kernel-source yesterday, becouse I hadn't it (mabe when I have installed Linux i didn't choose to save source). Could be that i have to compile it ? mabe the answer "no rule to make target 'module' in usr/src/lunux2.6xxxx/default..." it dipends that the source is not reffered to that linux version....
    Or someone knows another walkthrue to install this USB wireless adaptor ??
    Thanks in advance,
    Ciao,
    Achille

    If you're doing this as root user, then you can do anything.

    Can you post what errors you get when you try to compile the module for your wireless adapter?

    Hi Dooghy !
    Thankyou for your answer; this is the answer that I receive when i try to compile the drivers of my adaptor:

    make[1]: Entering directory `/usr/src/linux-2.6.16.21-0.25-obj/i386/default'
    make[1]: *** No rule to make target `modules'. Stop.
    make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/linux-2.6.16.21-0.25-obj/i386/default'
    rt2500.ko failed to build!
    make: *** [module] Error 1

    Well, I guess this driver need a new version of kernel (2.6.22......);
    How can i do ??
    Thankyoy in advance,
    Achille

    I've tried but no result ;( I can't understand what's meaning "No rule to make target `modules'."...;
    I'll edit Makefile and then I'll post the directive inside it to build the target 'modules' ....
    I hope that someone can helps me;
    Thanks again to all,
    Achille
