SUSE 9.2 HELP!!!Need to install HP DESKJET

I have installed Suse 9.2 on my system first time... i have configured somehow my settings.... but i need to install HP Deskjet F380 ALL IN ONE... so that i can scan n print my docs.... can any please lemme know how to find drivers for SUSE 9.2 THANX IN ADVANCE.... and also need some help to configure my internet for dsl connection thanx

First, is there any particular reason for installing Suse 9.2 instead of Suse 10.2?

I haven't installed Suse 9.2 (the first version of Suse I've installed was 10), so I can't give you precise infos. But, for your HP printer you need to get the HPLIP library. For this, go to Yast -> Software -> Software Management (this is in fact for Suse 10.2, so you'll ned to find something similar; this is from where you can add new packages) and search for "hplip".

Alternatively (still I recommend the above solution) you can download the package and install it by yourself from HPLIP. You'll find a lot of infos there also.

When i posted my problem i installed 9.2 but after some days i downloaded 10.2 and also downloaded the tag.zr file from the url u suggested me.... also i got a url for hplip from software management in YAST

/usr/share/doc/packages/hplip/install/index.html

any body needs help how to install and configure an hp printer... go ahead to above URL
