need help with OpenSuSE 10.0 (no cd/floppy)

ive been having trouble installing linux on my laptop through my cd drive, so i decided to try out instlux, which is a version of linux capable of being installed through windows. im using an OpenSuSE 10.0 version of it.

now my problem is: when i get to the install from the hdd selection, it asks me to, "Enter the source directory". has anyone ever installed it this way and knows that that source directory is? ive tried a couple different things like the actual windows pathway C:/blah blah blah. im not really sure what this is, anyone know?

Unfortunately I haven't done something like this.
But what sort of problems did you have when installing from your cd drive? Can you post more details about this?

When installing, what option have you used? Have you tried other options like installing with ACPI off?
If you haven't and if you've tried to install by using the first option only, then try the others options too.
