    trouble with suse 10.2

    Hello,

I just installed suse 10.2 on my laptop as an alternative to Vista which it came with and is gettting very annoying. anyway, i went into yast control/hardware/graphics card and monitor to turn on 3d acceleration. ran the test. 3d was supported on intel 945 integrated graphics card. rebooted no 3d!

went back to yast control center and now graphics and monitor will not open. i click on it and it looks like it's loading but doesn't. how can i get the 3d desktop going??

As root type "sax2" in the konsole. There you should be able to configure. Post the output if any errors occur.

In order to do 3d acceleration you must install a driver from the manufacturer

Graphics - Availability of Intel® Graphics Drivers for Linux*

    I think.
