dump or ASCII/text driver for printer - plz help asap

    OS: SLED 10

I have to configure a "Globalis Safir Sp-40 Transactional Printer" on a SLED 10 box.
Globalis Support team has told me that .... "On any flavor of UNIX you can use the dump or ASCII/text driver with any of our products, the SP40 inclusive"
To configure the printer i ran
    # yast printer
But i didnt found "dump or ASCII/text driver" option.

    yast printer > Printer Type
i, Directly Connected Printers ii, Network Printers [here I select option 1] >
then select Parallel Printer > next > next > now here comes a screen to select the Manufacturer and Model page (globalis is listed/available here) >
i,e I didnt found the "dump or ASCII/text driver" option.

plz let me know what should I do, where can i find the "dump or ASCII/text driver" option.

    Regards

This same printer can work as EPSON LQ 570 ...so i configure the printer as EPSON LQ 570.
now i can print the documents... but issue is that .. the printer doesn't prints good/satisfactory.. i.e its hard to unsderstand the print, that the printer prints on the paper.

Just the printing is not satisfactory... or not easily readable.. I mean one has to focus/concentrate to understand the text.. that the printer prints.

If anyone can help me in this issue..i.e is there anyway that i can print the text in good shap or "easily readable"

    Regards

problem resolved ... simply I change the resolution from 60*60 dpi to 120*72 dpi... and now the printer prints superb

    Issue resolved.
